The Mandate of EPIC Nations
1. We, the nations of EPIC Nations, do hereby swear to obey the following in order to secure prosperity and continued safety for ourselves and each other. Hereafter, EPIC Nations may also be referred to as EPIC.
2. The President is the supreme leader of EPIC and has the final say in all matters pertaining to the direction of EPIC, as well as overseeing all operations within EPIC. It is the responsibility of the President to appoint able individuals to the ranks of EPIC Nations, as long as a vote has been had, with 2 or more nominees. Any holding those titles serve only in the President’s favor and thus the President may reserve the right to strip and reappoint these titles with the approval of the Special Advisor to the Government and the Vice President. Should the President be voted out of office, or resign his duties, the Special Advisor to the Government shall create a poll of 2 or more presidential nominees out of which the victor shall be proclaimed President of EPIC.
3. The Vice-President is the second-in-command in EPIC Nations and serves as the President’s highest helping hand. Second only to the President, the Vice-President is to ensure all proclamations and declarations made by the President are carried out completely. Furthermore, the Vice-President is expected to ensure that the individual members of EPIC Nations are contributing in their respective corps and maintaining an acceptable level of activity.
4. The Special Advisor to the Government shall be the President’s left hand, and all other government positions’ right, responsible for providing key advice and guidance to all government officials, members, and recruits, and is responsible for affairs concerning government officials, members, and recruits, and he/she will also be tasked with reading, maintaning, and responding to posts, and the forum in general. Also only he has the power to mask people. The SAG is also the Head of Homeland Security, responsible for peace on the forums, making peace and ceasefire treaties with other nations and alliances, and the SAG is responsible for heading the Department of Homeland Security. The Special Advisor to the Government may also be called SAG.
5. All members are to be on the EPIC Nation’s website for at least 30 minutes a day, in order to obtain information about EPIC and learn of new developments in EPIC.
6. All EPIC members are required to partake in polls concerning the well being and prosperity of EPIC.
7. A new President is not required to elect new government officials, e.g.If the new President likes the old VP and SAG, he/she can keep them in those positions.
8. All recruits are to request the recruit test, and take the recruit test with a 60% higher grade making you a full-fledged member, where you will be placed in the proper military division, obtain the rank of private, request to be placed in a ‘special division’ of your choosing, and be masked for all of the above.
9. Any EPIC Nations member may apply to be a government official.
10. All EPIC Nations members are required to be part of a special division, such as the Foreign Ambassadors, the R (recruitment)-Division, or anything of the like.
11. All government officials have the power to handout the recruit test; however only the Secretary of Recruitment, Head of Secretaries, Vice-President, the Special Advisor to the Government, and the President may formally introduce said recruit and send him/her a message welcoming them to EPIC Nations.
12. All members, unless the situation prevents it, must attempt to recruit 2 new members a day, unless the member is part of the R-Division.
13. Any and all members may be asked to donate any amount of money for to the treasury for the good of EPIC Nations, so long as it’s less then 1.5million to the Secretary of the Treasury. If your nation cannot afford it however, you may be exempt from this deed so long as you, either publicly or via secure message, notify the Secretary of the Treasury of your exact amount of money.
14. Any EPIC Nations member may be called upon to be in a pool of Inner-Alliance Foreign Aid donors, as long as they have sufficient funds, and they give their consent to the Secretaries of the Treasury to be in said pool. THIS IS OPTIONAL!!
15. Any and all members may be asked to partake in an inner-alliance trade/tech circle. These are optional; however it is greatly encouraged that you partake in these trade/tech dealings.
16. The government holds the power to disconnect any EPIC Nations member from EPIC Nations, as long as they provide incontestable evidence and a logical argument. It will also be put to a vote, with a 60%+ yes vote ejecting said member from EPIC.
17. Only the President, Vice President, and the Special Advisor to the Government may create new government positions.
18. Only the Special Advisor to the Government may proclaim a new President and Vice-President. The President, Vice-President, and the Special Advisor to the Government may proclaim new Secretaries, as long as a fair (2 or more nominees, and an Other option) vote has been done, however the Special Advisor to the Government, the Vice-President, and the President, may appoint members to a government position as long as they have the members premission, and there is no other contestant.
19. Members may only conduct war with the approval of the Secretary of War, the Secretary of Inner-Alliance Foreign Aid, the Secretary of the Treasury, the Special Advisor to the Government, the Vice-President, and the President, with incontestable evidence. All nations are required to partake in war, either directly, by helping attack said nation, or indirectly, by providing Aid for nations in said war. This will be directed by the Secretary of War. These same guidelines are to be followed if a Nation is attacked.
20. Only the President may nominate members to become government officials.
21. The Head of Secretaries shall be responsible for monitoring all Secretaries respective division activities. All Secretaries are required to present the Head of Secretaries with a weekly message, detailing what happened in their division. The Head of Secretaries must forward these messages to the Special Advisor to the Government, Vice-President, and the President.
22. The Secretary of Recruitment shall be responsible for managing the Recruitment Division, which will be tasked as the primary recruiters for EPIC Nations.
23. The Secretary of Tech shall be responsible for organizing inner-alliance and outer-alliance tech dealings.
24. The Secretary of Inner-Alliance Foreign Aid shall be responsible for organizing the shipment of Foreign Aid to new alliance members and members in need. The Secretary of Inner-Alliance Foreign Aid will need authorization from the Secretary of the Treasury to send these funds from the pool of Inner-Alliance Foreign Aid donors.
25. The Secretary of Foreign Ambassadors shall be responsible for the management of the Foreign Ambassadors to other alliances. The Secretary is required to task Foreign Ambassadors with Alliances to serve as Ambassadors to. The Ambassadors must send a daily message to the Secretary of Foreign Ambassadors detailing activity in their assigned alliances, which shall be forwarded to the Special Advisor to the Government, the Vice-President, and the President.
26. The Secretary of Inner-Alliance Trade shall be responsible with the management of Inner-Alliance Trade circles by matching members with members who have resources that could benefit each.
27. The Secretary of War is the supreme commander of EPIC Nation’s armed forces. The Secretary of War’s duty is to take any and all measures necessary to secure the safety and well-being of EPIC Nation’s and her members. The Secretary of War is expected to establish and maintain a military structure that allows for an efficient and active army. However, the Secretary of War, or any member for that matter, may not declare war on another sovereign alliance without the expressed permission of the Secretary of War, Inner-Alliance Foreign Aid, and the Treasury, the Special Advisor the Government, the Vice President, and the President. Lastly, it is expected for the Secretary of War to work to create and maintain accurate guides for the explicit use of EPIC Nation’s in regard on how to conduct war and what military units to purchase.
28. The Secretary of the Treasury controls all fiscal assets belonging to EPIC Nation’s and her members. It is the duty of the Secretary of the Treasury to provide for the growth of the Kingdom and her members and to allocate funds toward this goal. It is also the responsibility of the Secretary of the Treasury to create and maintain a banking infrastructure within EPIC Nation’s. To this end, the Secretary of the Treasury may also create any titles or organizations he deems necessary to fulfill his duties, with the approval of the Special Advisor to the Government, the Vice-President, and the President. In times of war it is expected of the Secretary of the Treasury to work with the Secretary of War in regards to allocating funds to members in need of aid which are currently partaking in a war, and the Secretary of Inner-Alliance Foreign Aid in regards to allocating funds to new and struggling nations. Lastly, it is expected for the Secretary of the Treasury to work to create and maintain accurate guides for the explicit use of EPIC Nation’s regarding the use of money to purchase items.
29. The Defender of EPIC Nations shall be granted to the most powerful nation in EPIC. They shall serve as the Secretary of War's highest advisor on all matters military.
30. Only the SAG may mask people and maintain the forum of EPIC Nations.
31. Any nation affiliated with EPIC Nations must be on the white team.
32. Any member deemed to be in violation of these laws will be sent a message, by me, detailing what they have done wrong, and, if it's a serious offense, they will be demoted, also by me, to the lowly rank of Traitor, where you rank a little above a recruit, and way below a member
32.The Big Five is the highest echelon of EPIC Nations, consisting of the President, Vice-President, Special Advisor to the Government, Head of State, and Defender of EPIC Nations. They have the executive right to take whatever measures they deem necessary to create a better EPIC Nations.
33.The SAG and President of EPIC Nations reserve the right to modify the Mandate as they see fit.
